Election Open Thread

Well it appears that voter turn out is going to be low for the primary. As of today, Clatsop County ballot returns are at 7,800. The magic number for 50% is 10,360. A bonaza of ballots need to be turned in before 8PM tomorrow in order for the fair levy to even have a chance. (Even though I doubt it would pass anyway.)

In other news it appears that Mannix and Saxton are in a dead heat to win the Repub nomination according to the polls, with Atkinson trailing well back. I still think Jason has a decent shot and will probably win everywhere outside of Portland.
