Clatsop County News: Rohne Files, Axmen, Marine Reserves, Dead Zone
- Brian Lister, a former Seaside cop, shot and killed a armed gunman in Clackamas.
- Dirk Rohne has officially filed to run for District 4.
- Axmen will be appearing on the History Channel on March 9th. It features a “Deadliest Catch” type show, but films local loggers instead. Browning Logging, Gustafson Logging, Pihl Logging and Stump Branch Logging will be featured.
- Oregon is 149 years old today. Next year is the big one five 0. Celebration Planning has already begun.
- I went to the This is War, memories of Iraq Road Show 2008 at the Liberty Theater last night. I would highly recommend it. It’s not too long maybe an hour and is about as non-political as you can get.
- Also at the Liberty on March 1st is Blood Sweat and Tears.
The Astoria High School Jazz Band will be the opening act. There is about 150 tickets left and it should be a sell-out. You’ll want to get them fairly quick if you want to go….325-5922 ext 55.
UPDATE
- Ted Kulongoski does a 180 on LNG and now tells FERC to stop everything.
