After reading over the Goldsmith report I Have a few words of note. This report was done in response to the Jennifer Bunch letter. I would put the thing on NCO, but I think I would burn up my scanner…...
Here is the DSM post and her letter to Ed Wegner about it:

Mrs. Bunch? How do you know she’s married? Is she a good friend of yours? Or your husband’s?

We’re still here. And the fact that she used that thread to imply her job was being threatened and people believed her without even bothering to see the topic was under ENERGY and the thread topic clearly was talking about her bias towards the anti LNG group proves she’s a little manipulator.
That post in no way was implying a threat to her job. That post clearly said she shouldn’t be part of the staff advising the commissioners on something when they have a clear bias. The whole staff doesn’t have to be advising the board on every matter. She should have recused herself. Bunch lies to a superior in this letter. She says the post is full of blatant lies. She was a supporter of those opposing LNG before she got the job as a county planner. She isn’t someone who can be trusted now if she can’t even admit the truth of that.

Read the Portland lawyer’s report on Monday

The Portland lawyer was not hired to do an impartial investigation. The Portland lawyer was hired to protect the County against accusations that its Planning Dept. was not impartially enforcing the various laws as it is supposed to do. The Portland lawyer did what the Portland lawyer was hired to do. I won’t bother to read the report because I’m sure Joe Gamm has not left out any of the negative contents in his summation. There is nothing in it to justify this recall. However, I did not find anywhere in Gamm’s article the finding that neither Lee nor anyone on his behalf had pressured Stone or Scarborough for any favors with regard to his land use. Perhaps I missed it.

RTV, you’ve got to be kidding me if you really think the investigation wasn’t impartial. It’s internal affairs; they go after their own with a vengeance.
No, I think that Lee will have a very hard time and he deserves every minute of it.

It isn’t “internal affairs” and it isn’t impartial. The “investigator” is a lawyer. She writes her “impressions” of the interviews and events and tests to see if there is a case for court. Her conclusion was that enough people would corroborate Bunch’s reporting of the event to make her a threat to the pocketbook of the county. That is what she is paid to do. Weigh whether or not the threat of a employee lawsuit is eminent. Look up the type of cases Jill Goldsmith (aka Dinse) does. Her job is NOT to CLEAR people. Bunch’s corroboration is coming from the county department that we see by Neikes’ account and the Heinzman case has a lot of problems. One problem might be “truthiness”. Another problem is apparently professionalism.
