LiveBlogging Seaside vs Astoria Basketball

1st quarter almost over. Fouls, fouls and more fouls….....Fish up 10-7, Most of the starters have 2 fouls for both sides. Looks like the younger ones will get some playing time.

UPDATE
End of first quarter Fish up 10-8….16 fouls in the first quarter…........Before the game Seaside was 2-2 in Cowapa play and Astoria was 3-1…with their only loss coming to first place Tillamook.

UPDATE
Lots of Fthrows because of all the fouls but both teams are 4-11 from the line…......Seaside up 12-10…19 total fouls about 6 minutes left in the 2nd.

Fouls continue to rack up, Poyer with 3 fouls along with others….Fish up 17-14…4 minutes to go in the second quarter…..

Astoria up 23-16…..Chris Meyer goes an a tear and scores 8 in a row for the fish….....Olivar for Seaside has 4 fouls already…...Fish starting to pull away and are up by 10 at halftime…..26-16 Fish

Start of the 3rd…..Both teams score with quick 2’s…..24 fouls in the first half…..2 Seaside Players with 4 each…..

UPDATE
Astoria still up after 3 quarters…..34-24…..

UPDATE
Astoria Still up by 11 with 3 minutes left in the game…..Kauffenger and Meyer leading scorers….with 18 and 13 respectively…..

Poyer makes 2 FT’s and Seaside comes back with a basket…..Astoria still up 12….only a minute left….

UPDATE
4th Quarter ends with Astoria winning 49-38…..Astoria moves to 4-1 in Cowapa…...Seaside drops to 2-3…...
