- Knappa has a new Forestry Club. They travel the State and compete in timber events.
UPDATE
- Extreme tides will be happening over the next few days. Some 10ft High tides and -2 foot lows tides will be happening only 6 hours apart. A good article of why this happens from the Register Guard.
- North Coast crab fishermen worry that they may be competing with wave buoys in their fishing grounds.
- Astoria finds itself on the “pork list”. Citizen Against Government Waste have tagged David Wu’s $150,000 earmark to he City of Astoria, for the Chinese Park, as a pork project.

Yahoo And Hooray for The Lpng in Astoria!!I see that the county fathers have really bitten at the bit with the sugar coating..I have prayed to allah for a Lpng in Astoria knowing that it was the best for the town. Front page Daily A. Who will be the first hired from this blog? I was in Boston last week and there Lpng look snazzy and it has brought better paying jobs to there town,Astoria and Warrenton International Airport looks great as we flew in for a brief junket flight… Other than that Astoria looks gr”great….!!!!
