While TH is Away, Let's Plan to Play!

by Carrie Ank

The real way to get to know your fellow local bloggers isn’t over yet another latte! It’s through the dignified and gentle art of KARAOKE!

So, by way of doing a preliminary market study, what are your thoughts about meeting for a night of off-key revelry and embarrassing renditions of outdated tunes?

Will Auntie L belt out “I Am Woman?”

Can Guy be persuaded to croon “Unchained Melody?”

We’ll never know if we don’t try to get it together.

Chime in (and if you have a better meeting idea, put that down, too!)

I am woman? Come on…....cannot stand helen reddy. The music I would choose would be…....well, you will have show up to find out, huh?

I think its a fab idea. Bloggers being silly and goofing off with each other, what could be better.

And no my guess is that Guy will NOT sing. We will be lucky to get him to go out after dark, probably. I do wish you could convince him to at least come and watch us make fools of ourselves.

Isn’t that what blog comments and forums are for?

yeah, but sometimes some of them need to see you in person to believe that you really exist. And I bet you can sing. But wont.

Yep, let them go right on thinking I don’t exist. I don’t mind one bit.

You don’t exist, Guy.

You are a sharp-witted ‘shared hallucination’

Who won’t sing.

C’mon, Guy! What are ya? CHICKEN? Bock bock bock!

Okay, it worked on the playground…

I’ll sing if Guy sings…

Where is this going to be at? MO3 you can’t invite and then say you’re only going to sing if Guy sings. Did you pick Karaoke hoping to entice Patrick and Peter? Auntie will sing anything as long as she gets to hold a mic! :)

My kids are cringing at the thought of me even humming.

Guy – you could promise to do one song – then go up and sway to Metamorphosis One! :)

Mo3 … How come one has to be signed up with Google to make comments on your blog now?

Walt, that keeps the spammers away.

It’s odd how more people are replying to TH’s blog while he’s not here. Maybe it’s time TH start his own forum.

Wouldn’t that word key do the same thing? I used to have a choice, now it’s only Googlers. Googlites? Googlians?

Walter, snap out of it and become one of us – the unbaptised, unwashed “googlezombified” ones.

Why would anybody willingly give Google more data? Don’t you know … wait … you don’t know, do you? My God, you poor people. Well, don’t worry too much about it. It’s too late for you, anyway.

I’ve only been to Portway once in the last 6 months or so and it was a Friday and they had Karaoke. Labor Temple has it on Saturday and Monday for sure.
