Some fishermen refer to storms as “Commas”. Most storms that come ashore in the PNW are shaped like a comma. After they move through, there is a few hours of generally unsettled weather that features clouds, showers, sun breaks and possible thunderstorms.
Today one of those storms rolled through and dumped quite a bit of rain on the North Oregon Coast. But, we are getting into the time of year where a half day of rain is not a bad thing and I even enjoy it. It clears the air a bit and washes away some of the dirt and debris that gathers on the ground.
