Harlem Ambassadors Playing Tonight

So you have been in the house for a while with all this rain coming down. It’s time to head down to the Middle School for some basketball fun.

The Harlem group is somewhat like the Harlem Globe-Trotters, but with a message for the local kids. The team has been touring local schools and talking to kids about the dangers of drugs and dropping out of school.

Tonight’s game will put them in a tightly contested match with the local teachers and I will be running the scoreboard…so it may seem like the Visitors are making more baskets, but the home team will be right in the game on the scoreboard !!

Game starts at 7pm at the Astoria Middle School.
Tickets are $8-10 at the door and all proceeds will go toward local programs.
