Other tidbits:

  • No time to get crabby, Astoria-Warrenton Chamber Press releases are posted at Yahoo Biz now, they made it to the big time!
  • A quick shout-out to Betsy, Debbie and Brad, this is ridiculous. All this time, effort and money is being wasted on trying to get the House and Senate to reform the schools. Now it is going into the Oregon Courts and guess what the courts will say? They will order you to reform it, back to square one. And a hint would be to quit letting the State divide up our school funds. Clatsop, Tillamook and Portland schools get the shaft under the current setup. All of you represent at least one of these areas, it’s time to fight for the citizens that live in these counties.
  • Mannix says he will “get rid” of the current Land-Use bunch and turn it over to Oregonians In Action if he is elected. Mannix is about as Fair and Balanced as Lars Larsen, why should his appointments be any different?
  • Trucks of salmon may arrive in the fall to “re-stock” Youngs Bay.
  • The Feds will be in town sometime during the next week to tell us about teen drinking.
  • Bush says that the troops will come home under future White House critters.
